Why cant you delete your own posts?

it's unnecessarily restrictive not to allow folks to walk down the high street naked, but the same question applies:

why would you want to?

we might shuffle it a little, but we have a policy of keeping all content. if you anticipate a need to delete a post you make, reconsider making the post.
