WinRar says the "archive is either in unknown format or damaged".

Downloaded it several times with Ie 6.

WinXP's own zip plugin shows the archive content as blank... which is just what it is. 0 bytes.
Not all is lost.

could you describe the problem a wee bit more fully. do you mean when you close the browser you are no longer logged in, or do you mean when you click on links within the site you are no longer logged in or  ??? ???

Well I just reinstalled XP. I have been constantly having to log in when visiting the main page. Now it seems as though I am staying logged in if I use a direct link to the forums though.

IE6 BTW.

hmmm... i've had a look at the login code and it all seems fine. only thing i can think would cause this is the cookie. clear your cache etc.

by default the login sets the session length to 'forever', so you're logged in until you log out. if anyone else has this issue please post here with details.

FWIW Bedges, I stay logged in when I direct connect to the forums main page. But if I connect to the main/home page of the site I am not logged in. It's no big deal at all. Just wanted to let you know. The site seems a lot faster loading now, but posting on the forums is still really slow for me. Again not a complaint, just an observation.

Registered tag not added to profile

I've registered the tag ION, but it looks like it's not added to profile.
If I'm trying to add a public key to the tag I will get this answer:

You don't currently have a registered tag.
But as information for the tag I had registered it:

Registered by: i0n0s

Any ideas?

there are 141 tags which were registered with incomplete information - this is not the fault of the members, rather an oversight in the coding of one or more versions of the tag system.

the details for the ION tag have been updated so you should now be able to administer your tag details and upload a key.

if any other members cannot properly administer their tag details, just send a PM to me and i'll get it sorted. we're especially keen to hear from any of the other 141 tag owners in the list above.

Experts For Hire doesn't work for me, as when I try to add my name the following php page appear as blank.
Don't know if it is a local problem or not, will try again with a different setting. Just to let you know
