Afgantsi(Campaign Idea)

Greetings, after getting OFP GOTY Edition, I was rather disappointed with the "Red Hammer" segment of the series.....furthermore, I decided that I'd make my own campaign, nothing fancy, about 5-10 missions, modelled on the Soviet war in Afghanistan. I was just curious about how the community feels about this, as I don't really want to start it unless at least some people are going to try it.....besides which, I'll need some help to do it, and if no one is interested.......I notice that the existing campaigns for the Soviets(or at least, the original campaign+Motherland one) tend to have a very specific idea in mind   I'd just like to end this by saying that this campaign won't feature the prevalent "Soviets are evil, your character deserts and joins his former enemies" plot....

oh great you just ruined the end of red hammer for me. your idea is great but its going to need more of a storyline. also you have a lot of addons to start collecting like the afghanistan map, taliban and mujahedeen soldiers, soviet paratroopers etc. check out ofp.info for all of these and more

Heh, sorry about ruining the ending for you   Anyways, I've pretty much already got the plot/storyline/basics of the idea worked out, I just don't want to give too much away
