okay this probaly shouldnt be here but i would like to know the answer quite alot
i was playing one of my missions through the editor and when i clicked preview i got sent to the briefing screen wich has never ever happened to me
is this normal for ofp or am i just lucky for it to happen ?
im using ofp goty editon patched to the latest version i recently did a fresh install of ofp
so is this normal for the editor?

well this is kind of the right place... i think

as far as i know, the only reason for the bref to show when in the editor is when u hold one of the shift keys when u click preview...

oh right sounds pretty cool i never knew that and i think thats right because my computer does some weird thing with the shift key it kind of holds it dows for you so you cant ttpe numbers they show up as ! " £ $ and so on lol
anyway what about the overview is it possible to view that ?

only when the mission is compiled into pbo format, as far as i know.

thats what i used to think as well

but i use the left shiftkey for teamspeak, and if i'm talking at the same time as i click preview it takes me to the bref...

CopyrightPhilly yep your right hold left shift at the same time and it takes you to the briefing wich is a very handy idea

You can't see the overview from the mission editor.     When you want to edit it move the mission folder into the main missions directory, so you can see the mission from the single missions list.   Then you can edit and see your changes straightaway.
