Using outros (won/lost)...
« on: 22 Aug 2002, 15:46:35 »
As we all know there're "outro won" and "outro lost" available in the editor.

But I haven't found a way to "connect" to them.

I mean the intro is started automatically and is going over in the mission but that not happens with the outros (even if I've edited something in there).

Do somebody have some experience with that?

Thanks

You need a trigger set to either an END#1 or Lose type.  THe END# are the win intro.  The Lose, oddly enough plays the lose outro.

I've tried this but it hasn't worked!

And what's if I've more then one Ends?
Do they all activate the won outro?

Thanks anyway!

They dont work in the editor (or for multiplayer missions).  You will need to export it to single player so see them

ok....

all the 'END#' activates the outro win and they are all linked to different debriefs in the briefing html file.

Loose cause the Outro lose to be played.

the will only play automatically when the mission has been uploaded into the single missions format.

Thanks mates but I know that I've to save it as SP before the whole stuff (overview, intro, briefing and mission) is running but I've tried to enter an "grave/cementary scene" if the player died (has lost) and some thing like a after batlle "clean up" if accomplished.

Seems that the failure is on my side because you told me exactly how I thought it should work!

Have to test it again thanks...

Think the Problem is "solved" in this case. Thanks!
