resistance bridge
« on: 12 Feb 2005, 00:38:23 »
The resistance bridge's lights dont turn on at night which I find imensely irritating, as it looks crap.
I have two ideas and they probably wouldnt be hard to do..either

1. Make the lights turn on.

2. Simply remove the lights to leave the bridge.

Could anyone help me with this?

You can't turn on the bridge lights.

I think only class streetlight can have the 'light' memory point set in the p3d model and as the bridge is not a streetlight it won't work.  Besides all that a streetlight can only have 1 'light' point specified.

Removing the lamposts would be easy enough, but, it would need to be a separate addon.

You would need to convert a copy of the resistance bridge model into MLOD format using ODOL Explorer.

Then you would load this into Oxygen and remove the lamposts from the model..

Resave your model giving it a new name and then write a config for it.

You could also Binarize the model to convert it back to ODOL format.
