Search interface for FAQ open!

We have completed the first version of our searchable FAQ interface.

For those who don't know, we here at OFPEC have been building the biggest ever OFP FAQ for awhile now, and a few forum mods have recently been implemented to simplify the process for staff to enter FAQ entries directly from posts in the forum.

The FAQ will get bigger over time, and to facilitate hunting for information in the FAQ a custom search interface has been designed.

Get to it by clicking on the word 'Search' in the nav bar above, or by following this link:

Please search both the FAQ and the forum (the Search button at the very top of the navbar) before posting a question on the forum.

If you find any bugs, or can suggest any improvements to the search interface, please let us know here.

This is only the first iteration of this feature, and we'll be improving it over time, and integrating it further into the actual ed depot.

Hi!

Does that mean if somebody posts  ( in the forum )
HOW DO YOU LIGHT A FIRE? We in the community
should NOT answer his question, rather, tell him ( or her )
to hit the FAQ? ( fair to me by the way ). And if we do answer a simple question...we get a pecker whacking?
( in trouble ). I for one encourage people to not be lazy
and surf around first for the answer.....But hey, you know
how it is!          Keep up the good work,

i guess noobs may not know about the FAQ - though it is pretty obvious - i guess answer the question if it is that simple and ask the person to next time check the FAQ first.
