Having an NPC Pick Up the Player?

Probably a simple one, here. But I'm at a loss, and I'm absolutely no good at editing.

Anyway. I'm trying to create a little mission that begins with the player's friend (civillian) pick him up in his little red car. I've set up the waypoints so that the friend drives over to him, but I'd like to know how to make him stop and wait for the player to get in to the car, before continuing his journey to wherever.

Any ideas?

ok we can do this with simple waypoints, redcar man has a load waypoint then a move waypoint, the player has a getin waypoint, then click syncronize and draw a line between the load and getin waypoints

Works perfectly. Much appreciated. I knew I could trust a man with Zoidberg as his avatar.
