Editors depot, unofficial comref
« on: 16 Aug 2004, 21:46:11 »
Ok, I usually get right into business in some matters so here goes.

I remember that at some point the Unofficial Command Reference was available as a zip file from the Editors Depot. Currently, it's only viewable from the site. When I try to save the page to my PC, it gives me "no linking" pages and directs me to the OFPEC site when pressing the links on the page, even though the file is on my hard drive. Now, my suggestion is, could you guys make it a zip file again so I can download it like I used to? Or am I missing some link from where I can download it to my computer? :)

Keep up with the good work on the site!

I just tried it.

I pressed the download link.....a new browser window opened and the file loaded into it.........once it was finished I right clicked and chose.....Save Page As.....etc.

No problems at all.

It might be one of your browser settings that needs adjustment........privacy settings......cookies......etc.

I know a little about a lot, and a lot about a little.

I think Chris Script Editor have the unofficial bible in it. Try downloading it and break it out manually from the program if you can.

The Unoffocial Command Reference is still downloadable from the editors depot.

For some reason, it wont work for me even if I have my firewall off or on.  :-\ "Save target as" gives me a no linking page instead of the comref. Bleh, I can live with it. :) The official ones are more complete anyway, just that this one has the anims listed. I'll just copy/paste them to a text file then. ;)
Cheers for the help guys! :)

Remember to check the XP build-in firewall too.
