It looks good but when i put it in the editor and try to play it ingame, my computer crashes to desktop and i get an error message saying

invalid texture aspect ratio (256x16)

does anyone know what that means

Damn...this bird rocks!!!

Man, there're so many great things on it that I've to begin with the one and only not so good thing. It's the texturee (especially the US ones)...I think it can be done a lil' better but that's all.

There rest is top! The weaponloadouts, the sound, the cockpit, the flight physics (especially with a joystick it's unbelivable)...one cool thing is that the propellers can hurt and even kill people (if turned on) and units (the gunner) won't get in till the engines isn't stopped.

Very nice Addon and a must! I think have to do some kind of FAC/CAS mission...great!

I saw a German one perform at the ILA 2002 at the Airport Berlin SchÃ¶nefeld and this plane seems to have unbeliveable flight capabilitys.
Interresting is that the German version has a "glass turret" at the back where a machinegun can be mounted (take a look here).

I thought it was great as well...
Still, it would have been neat to see a variant with a 20mm Vulcan turret on the belly (OV-10NOG), as seen here:

and a SPECOPS variant that could carry five-six operators in back as they did with Navy SEALs in Viet Nam. Just a thought...
Still, a great addon to be sure. Just the kind of unit needed for OFP, and the insurgency/counter insurgency atmosphere in Resistance.

I've got the same problem as UK_SKA_RULES but with mine OFP just crashes, no error message or anything.

I get the same error message. I took every other addon out, and it had no change.

Question for those people who get CTD's with this addon, what graphics card are you using, that invalid texture aspect ratio error might be due to graphic settings or card capabilities.

I'm having no problems with the addon.

Did everyone,who is having problems, download it from www.ofp-zone.de?

I dl'ed it from the dkm site and it works fine. Just a thought, maybe the zips ofp-zone got were both for 1.75 or 1.46. You never know, mistakes happen.

No...I got the 1.75 version from ofp-zone and it works fine.

Also somebody told me it isn't working at his system and he has the same grafic card like I've (ASUS GF2 V7700 32MB DDR).

So I realy think it has to do something with the settings.

got v1.46 from the DKM website and never had a bit of problems with it yet. i am only running an old 8mb SiS videocard(2 year old laptop, cant expect to much)

No ZIP Files on ofp-zone are OK!

No one had this problems when dl this plane on my site!

Most people doesnt belive this, but pcs are too slow or have the wrong configuration in the most desktop chrashes!

Probably delete your old addons (save them in a other folder) and copy the bronco.pbo in the RES/AddOns folder!

from what ive seen so far every person with that problem is using a voodoo graphics card, so i think thats the problem

It has to do with the voodoo cards. Something about the voodoo cards not being able to handle two of the same textures or something like that. Go to the official ofp forums and find the OV-10 Bronco thread, i think that is where i was reading about the whole voodoo card thing. One of the DKM team members said they were working on a fix.

Yeah, it crashes in mine too. Posted it in the DKM forums, and they said i probably downloaded 1.75. But if I did, wouldn't it say "Version 1.75 is needed for DKM Bronco" ? This sucks, I need a decent bomber/attack plane...

If you have a voodoo card that is your problem. They are working on a fix for it.

No Offense to any voodoo owners but...

Voodoo Video cards bite the big one...go and grab a Geforce4 Ti4400 with DVI and TV-OUT like mine...runs OFP and all other games like a charm..the reason is : it has 128MB of DDR ram..

the bronco is lovely, but i have the 'muzzle flash bug' problem in the versions with mg 's attached

Excellent little plane, just what we needed for some 'Nam CAS missions.

It packs a punch, and I love it. The weapons loadout is great, and there are no obvious bugs that I've seen.

Plus it has great flight characteristics for a CAS plane.

The only wierd thing that I noticed is that the HUD is very unrealistic, at least in terms of the HUDs of other US planes that I'm familiar with. I'm well aware that this is the first ever working HUD, and that's awesome, but I've just never seen one that looks like that.

Is that the way the Bronco's really is, or is it just a technical thing since it is the first one of its kind?
