Cant open scripts
« on: 12 Jun 2004, 19:31:02 »
For sum reason wen i download a script to use and try to open the file there is always an error saying

"ERROR : Windows cannot find Notepad. You may have typed the name incorrectly into the run dialog or another open file can find a system file."

Now i have notepad clearly on the computer. So i tried right clicking on the script and i selected "Open with Chris's OFP Script Editor" and it still wudnt let me open the script.

Whats goin on?

Have you checked that the script file has an .sqs extension.

If not what extension does it have?

EDIT:  Check also that Notepad.exe is actually present in your Windows folder'.  Don't presume notepad is still on the machine because you have a shortcut to it.  Try running notepad.
