Whats happened to the Missions Depot?

Reviewing seems to have slowed down in recent times.

Whats happened to the reviewers?

yeah yeah we could all raise these questions but you will get the same response that your whining and we are working hard to get everything done.

Think about it Olphy, they have to check everything. Firstly get the add ons should there be any and download some missions that are 5mb on 56ks if anyone still has those anymore (me! :(). THen they have to complete the mission. Which may be very tough or something might not work.

But the upside is .... err I'm not sure. OFPEC health plan?

Your not the only one who has a 56k  :) .

Olphy why don't u become a reviewer, c wot it's like. The reviewers do have other lifes away from reviewing our missions but ur rite it is rather slow but i aint whining, just have to face that it takes a while to review a mission.

Greetings,

Yep, I'm another 56ker... :P
To think that this used to be the absolute pinnacle of internet speed... ::)

Actually, careful inspection of the OFP community reveals that everything has slowed down recently. It may be partly down to the fact that it is the end of the academic year, and schools/ colleges etc. are in the middle of the exam period.

But the one thing you can be sure of in the OFPEC is that the admins are doing everything possible to sort out any problems that arise. If anyone can sort it out, they will. If they weren't so busy reading all these threads... ;D

;D
That, and the most comprehensive OFP mission reviews in the community, from OFP editors themselves - people who know what they're talking about.

Eventually, anyway... ::) ;D

Beleive me I would, but I beleive that you have a no under 18's rule... So that would rule me out.

And I was'nt whining, all I wanted to know was why there was a sudden surge in Mission reviewing and then a complete halt... I was worried that they had all been killed... :P

Actually, that does seem to be a problem in the OFP community recently. All my BETA testers have disappeared suddenly... All 9 of them have just... gone... ??? :P

I should shut up now, as I can hear the mods coming with the keys... :noo:

I won't lock the thread, merely point out that we are already aware of the current issues and we're working on it.

Thx.

Noon you could be president or prime minister, I'm not sure who leads your excuetive branch. :-\

You always have the right answers. Should there be a reviewer crisis or they all died you'd have the right things to say so we don't get angry and spam OFPEC. Of course then you could kick us all out, but what kinda forum would that be? :(

Come over to the U.S. and take Bushes spot. :)

I am still alive and reviewing. (At the moment Behind Enemy Lines).

But the mission is find some SCUDs and destroy them. The problem is the SCUDs are somewhere on the island and you have no hint where.
Therefore i have to search the WHOLE island (takes some time).
But i want to finish the mission at least once to write a review.

Greetings

Whoah armstrong, I was talkin about Bush not Clinton. ;)

One gripe though, as I looked through the pending missions I saw one dated Sept. 12 2003. :(

Yeh but its probably the one that none of the reviewers want to tackle because its poor, too hard, ect.....i reckon its a legend among the mission reveiwers......"Dare you to tackle THE MISSION"...."no way man, thats way too hard for me, nobodies done that mission in 1359 attempts!"
