online/offline members comment is gone?

You know? The little comment that tells if that member is currently online next to their Icon?

Any reason for this or was this planned?

Those indicators took a holiday along with the ICQ Status icons, which are the main things we needed to remove.

The ICQ Status icons were causing massive load times for the forums (this is an ICQ issue, as it seems every other BB board is suffering).
So we removed them, but that fix unfortunately took the other icons with it.
MSN, AIM, ICQ, Online/Offline.

Once ICQ sorts itself out, we'll put them all back.

Until then, everybody is better off without them.
