situation report

For an elite team of Coalition Special Ops the mission seemed straight forward enough. Take control of a commanding enemy observation post called Tower Rock.
The taking of Tower Rock would offer Coalition forces a key strategic observation post.

But the enemy was waiting, hidden in amongst the long deserted civilian houses of Mercalillo , when the Special Forces choppers flared to land, they were shredded by a hail of machine-gun, small arms and RPG rounds.
As the designated Quick Reaction Force you must get to the scene quickly.

Two members of special forces have survived the ambush at Tower rock.

You are to lead your field medic to their positions and let him administer first aid
Then escort both your field medic and the special ops to the waiting field ambulance for medivac

Once you have safley extracted the special ops you are to proceed with their mission objective.
Capture Tower Rock!

I just love the intro in this mission. You did a great job mixing music with voices and cut scenes. Although I thought the top down view could of been a bit closer.
The mission it self is pretty good and tough. Kudos for a memorable mission, the rest of the players were really taken back by the intro and we watch it on almost every retry. :D

hi hoz ..

yup the mission is a tuff one ... possible with 4-5 however a full house is recomended ...  we had  bags of fun with this at RTY ... hopefully  bug free ...  we  played this more than any other ...

Mike ( aka =RTY= Hellfire) a fellow Canadian,  got right into the voice acting.
a true star ..  :)

hi

ill have a  final version ready for the end of this week

added  air support console   for extraction / close air support ... more reliable than  set up i was using
and a little more firepower for blufor

need to test it properly and re work the briefing  to include  TAC/FAC

changes

numerous bug fixes
added 6 cruise missile strikes to console (available from mission start)
no more problem buildings (simply destroy it with a missile strike) take care not to get to close to the MIAs
FAC  now has control over air support ( including helicopter / airborne support) . no more dodgy airstrikes or extractions
extra light armour (mk19s) available to player group ..

played well when we tested it ..

please check the new version before reviewing it ...   many thanks  :D

I played this to the end last night and I got a hint saying that it did update.

You should make it clear where we need to extract to also.... I guessed the HQ and was right apparently lol.... But add a marker for it or something....
