Title: Considered Amazon Associates?
Post by: eisa01 on 18 Nov 2007, 12:47:15
It's great that you've put up a way to support OFPEC by buying Arma, but I prefer having the box and disc. Could you consider having an option for us through Amazon Associates, preferably the UK store? I once requested this when Resistance came out, but then you couldn't because of the TOS between you and the host.

I hope I can try out Queen's Gambit this Christmas (need to install XP though, haven't had any luck with Vista and a 8800 GTS)

this is a pretty good idea. we'll look into the possibility, though obviously we can't make any promises.

I believe IDEA games made this option available to community websites to promote sales. ArmedAssault.info and a few other sites are able to do the same thing and make a small amount from each copy sold.
Idea games are only doing this offer for digital copys as far as I know, but OFPEC might be lucky to get some sort of deal on a hard copy. Might be good because your not the only one that preferes it over a digital copy.
