I thought the link is universal to all OFPEC patrons and not an individual hting..

Like it says, it has been temporarily disabled, we are working on getting it up however.

We don't know when it will be finished right now, so you will just have to sit tight.

rhysduk...I just got one thing to say...get mIRC or something like that ;) Much easier and once you start to chat there...you can't stop :P ;) Look at me...I got stuck :P

You can find the #OFPEC channel on the Quakenet servers.

QuakeNet is one of many IRC (Internet Relay Chat) servers.

This is also where the OFPEC chat room is located.

You dont always need to chat there via the Chat link on this site.

You can connect to QuakeNet, or indeed any IRC network, with an IRC chat client, such as mIRC (mentioned by Garcia).

the chat link has been removed for good I think. Well at least for most of us. It has now become a place only for the privilaged to go. Not for all us riff raff.
That's my subversive opinion anyways.  ;)

Any person can join the channel, elitism is not accepted in any part of OFPEC, including IRC. :P

As for the IRC applet, its down until we find and pay for one, and get it installed.

Its not high on the priority list at his point in time, especially with IRC being accessible by many programs like mIRC, Trillian, etc.

If you wish to chat in the OFPEC channel, simply jump on IRC capable program, connect to any 'quakenet' server and join #ofpec.
